Decisions, decisions

I realise how difficult it must be for you, dear reader, at this time of year – what to give the man who has everything for his impending (one month’s time) birthday? What gift could fully express your gratitude and admiration? Allow me to make a few modest proposals:
- Wind Leaves, or Turbulent Orb
- Kaiseki (lunch or dinner)
- Fox & Duck
Or failing that, a book voucher is always welcome.

hmmmm…. I like the turbulent orb
Fox and Duck is hands (paws and webbed feet) down the winner.
That’s a true dilemma Simon…
Food/dinner or lunch has that “a significant other must be present” prerequisite, while artistic objects have a tendency to be beautiful only in the eye of the beholder.
A book voucher might sound mundane, but I’d advice on reading “The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism”, by Naomi Klein with or without a voucher.
Jane: you’re not supposed to actually say which one you’re getting for me!
