Pause

Things will go quiet here for a little while (how long remains to be seen) as I try to decide whether or not I want to do this any more.
I’ll let you know one way or the other sometime later this month.
In case anyone else is feeling similarly ambivalent about their own blog, I highly recommend The Nonists’ guide to blog depression.

I know the feeling Simon…
My blog is running on a steady stream of +500 drive-by visitors in search of “nipples, prostitutes and sex with animals” (apart from the nipples all very socially relevant posts).
Whenever I post something socially relevant (e.g. the issues provoked by legal prostitution in a quiet residential part of downtown Antwerp) all I get is the tabloid crowd.
I’m fighting the “blog depression” blues too, on verra
Oh, I do this too. Good luck, I hope you come through it so we can keep reading. I’ve been down with this flu and haven’t been reading around so much lately.
Wait, wait, wait! Remember, you meet some of the nicest people through blogging. And they smell good too! : )
Me, I’m not blog depressed. I’m just plain depressed. I keep sitting around in my empty house staring at my hands thinking I really should DO SOMETHING worthwhile. But I’m just so flattened by February and occupying this icky space between coming and going. Must focus on the crocuses and the hopeful farmers, plowing their fields.
You can rest for a little bit if you want, but there’d better be a nice long post about the Big Apple trip in March.
Simon; Good luck with this. We will, I am sure, support you in whatever you decided and if you decided to stop, we will all write terrible thing about you on our blogs. Oh, that’s just me? Okay then.
Also, what Erik said.
