Musical Alphabet: B

Nothing special to say about this one – just that it’s one of my all-time favourite songs. As a child I used to know all the lyrics, including the famous rap section.

Great video too. Check out the dancing.

    HA! I totally remember this song. I used to babysit for a neighbor who used to play it all of the time. When it would come on the radio, though, my mom would say, “She starts out with such a pretty voice, and then does that terrible talking part…” 🙂

    I saw Blondie at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark in 1999. Blur was also there, which I presume was a contender for this second post.

    This song is unfamiliar to me, though. It rocks as much as any song with an unchanging bass riff can.

      Never heard Rapture? Inconceivable!
      Yes, Blur were also contenders for this post, as were Bjork, The Beautiful South, Boards of Canada and David Bowie.
